don't dump - donate!

Your old stuff can be someone else’s new start.

When you donate your-gently used items to one of the Our Towns ReStores, you are changing lives by making affordable homeownership a reality for a family in your own community!

Not only are you making a difference locally, you’re making a difference globally by preventing household items with plenty of life left from needlessly going to waste in a landfill!

how to donate

Schedule a Donation Pick-Up

If you have larger items to donate and need assistance getting them to a Charlotte Region ReStore location, we offer a donation pick-up service for larger items. Complete an online request form to schedule a donation pick-up.

Due to COVID-19, all items scheduled for pick-up must be placed in garage, car port, or on ground floor entryway of home. For the health and safety of our clients and staff, we will not enter the home beyond the foyer and will maintain a safe social distance at all times.

We suggest scheduling your pick-up at least one week in advance as we often have a high volume of requests.

Donation Drop-Off

Note: We are only accepting donation drop-offs at the Mooresville ReStore. Cornelius and Statesville will be open in the coming weeks.

All Our Towns ReStore locations – Cornelius, Mooresville, and Statesville – have donation drop-off areas with staff and volunteers available to assist you in unloading your items during business hours.

thank you

Last year alone your donations to the Our Towns ReStores helped build 5 new homes. The ReStores also seek to be good stewards of the environment by diverting more than 1,700 tons of usable items from landfills annually.

We can’t thank you enough for your support over the years!
